A ChatWun Telegram bot is a Telegram account that answers your customers automatically from your price list and knowledge, in Burmese, English or Thai, and hands anything it cannot answer to your staff in the same inbox. Creating one takes three steps and costs nothing beyond your ChatWun plan.
Why Telegram first
- It works without a VPN, which since the 2025 law matters to your customers as much as to you.
- Telegram's bot API is free. There is no per-message or per-bot fee, unlike Viber.
- Groups and channels are where sellers already post; a bot link in the pinned message turns a channel into a shop that answers.
Connect it
- 1Find @BotFather in Telegram.It is Telegram's own account for making bots. Open it and press Start.
- 2Send /newbot and give it a name.The name is what customers see, so use your shop's name. BotFather replies with a token, a long line of letters and numbers.
- 3Paste the token into ChatWun.Settings → Channels → Telegram. Paste, connect, done. Send your bot a message to watch it answer.

When a person is needed
A customer who asks for a person, or a question outside your knowledge, is handed to your staff in the ChatWun inbox with the whole conversation attached. Your staff reply from there; the customer stays in Telegram and notices nothing except that a person has joined.

Telegram is included from the Starter plan. The Free plan is web chat and the shop link only.
